Pizza Wizard makes the best pizza in Rochester, NY. At the outset of the pandemic in 2020, my friend Brian started making and selling Detroit-style pizzas out of the kitchen of The Owl House in Rochester, NY.

You would order online (if you were quick enough to claim a spot), go pick it up at a window, run into your friends who you never saw anymore, then go home with a perfect pizza. This ritual was a small beacon of culinary light during an otherwise “Zweigles White Hots at home for lunch everyday” period of my life.

When the Pizzy Wizzy himself opened up a brick and mortar, it was naturally a ‘96 Bulls-style success.

Brian is insane and I am very lucky to know him. He’s a charming, enthusiastic person with a frenetically creative brain and a true gift for creating and sustaining very good restaurants. Designing this hoodie for him was a delight and I hope I get to do a million more. Call me!
